You could assemble your own pack of LiFePO4 cells in the current battery pack--it takes 8 to make 24 volts, and as they're smaller, usually plenty of space in older battery containers.

can you provide some links of how to change the batteries?

You can try searching for some videos or something, but it's quite simple as it's just wiring/soldering the LiFePO4 cells in series and put them in the case and wire to the connections.

LiFePO4 cells are like batteries, each with 3.2 volts in a choice of ampere hours.

If you don't understand what I just said, you'll need to get the help of someone who does.
